Day Care

It’s not just our full-time residents that can benefit from the care, comfort and companionship provided across each of our homes.  At Hartford Care we offer a flexible range of Day Care options whereby you or your loved one can visit us for a day, or even several days a week.  All our Day Guests are welcomed into our homes and treated as part of the ‘Hartford Care Family’, enjoying what we have to offer on that day.

Day Care was originally introduced into our homes as a way of bridging the gap between an independent life at home and a move into permanent residential care. We genuinely believe that everyone has the right to enjoy every single day with the reassurance that their needs, feelings and wishes remain paramount, and Day Care can support this. It is also a great way to meet new people in similar situations and experience first-hand what life is really like in our homes.

 Our Day Care offers something for everyone:

• Explore new hobbies and interests – with a packed schedule of activities, we have something for everyone to enjoy. Our activities include sensory experiences, arts and crafts, exercise classes, musical activities, cooking, days out, gardening, pampering days and regular visits from various children and animal groups
• Join us for lunch and experience delicious and nutritious freshly-prepared meals in our beautiful, social dining rooms
• Unwind in our comfortable surroundings which provide a home-from-home environment, whilst remaining safe in the knowledge that you or your loved one will be well looked after
• Receive the care, comfort and companionship you deserve from our experienced Home Managers and their dedicated team who will take the time to understand the emotional and physical needs of all our guests
