Celebrating Hartford Heroes - 28 Nov 2018
This year we saw our new Hartford Hero awards launched, aimed at recognising our numerous staff members who go above and beyond the call of duty and go that extra mile in everything they do.
In particular, we are seeking to recognise those staff who exemplify our core values of ‘Care, Comfort and Companionship’ as they go about their work.
The new awards take place quarterly, and fellow colleagues, residents and family carers can now nominate.
Our Hartford Heroes for the last quarter have now been awarded, and we have really enjoyed visiting the homes and presenting our Hartford Heroes with their awards.
I’m sure you will all join in with me in congratulating:
- Woodlands House: Jane Edwards, Joyce Foot, Abbey Doyle and Lisa Sellens
- Bethel House: Aga Gierek
- Burnham Lodge: Paul Juliani
- The Laurels & Pine Lodge: Claudia Cullen and Rona Howard
- Tegfield House: Liza Aranda
- The Elms: Michael Taylor and Maria Czegledi
- Stokeleigh: Dana Korenova
Nominations for the Hartford Hero awards are open all year round, with the judging and awarding of the Hartford Heroes given on a quarterly basis. The Overall Hartford Hero will be announced in December and chosen from the winners throughout that year.
We invite you to nominate one of the Hartford Care Family for the Hartford Heroes awards; those who you have personally witnessed ‘going the extra mile’ in terms of the care and support that they give to our residents.
