One of our care homes on the Isle of Wight, Highfield is a beautiful period home that has been thoughtfully extended to provide a purpose-built extension for those who live with dementia. Originally a Victorian Gentleman’s residence, Highfield is in the heart of the community in Ryde, the largest seaside town on the Island, and a short 2-minute drive to the beach.
Our fully trained, caring and compassionate team has created a special nursing and residential home on the Island, equipped with 44 bedrooms and attractive and accessible courtyard gardens at the rear.
Meals are a social affair at Highfield and our residents really enjoy eating their delicious and freshly cooked meals in the bright, spacious and open plan dining room. The bright and cheerful conservatory lounge is the ideal place to read, relax and enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake.
Good fun is simply at the heart of everything we do, and we will try to cater for whatever you enjoy. You can participate in our varied activities and experiences such as: arts & crafts, exercise classes, musical activities, cooking and visits from our community friends.
We would love to welcome you to enjoy Day care as a flexible option and you can choose to visit us for one day, a week or several days and the timings can be tailored to suit your individual needs. Our care homes are very social and friendly, plus you can join us for lunch and participate in our varied activities and experiences such as: arts & crafts, exercise classes, musical activities, cooking, days out, gardening and visits from animals.
