Short Breaks & Day Care

Day care is a flexible option and you can choose to visit us for one day a week or several days and the timings can be tailored to suit your individual needs. Our Day care services help to bridge the gap between an independent life at home and a move into permanent residential care. Each of our homes offers a range of flexible day care options to enable us to assist older people in our local communities to choose a bespoke arrangement that meets all their care needs.

Day care guests are welcomed into our homes as ‘part of the family’ and the benefits of day care include:

  • Making new friends: our care homes are very social and friendly
  • Explore new hobbies & interests: participate in our varied activities for sensory experiences: arts & crafts, exercise classes, musical activities, cooking, days out, gardening, pampering days and visits from animals.
  • Join us for lunch: the dining experience with freshly prepared meals is a real highlight of the day in our beautiful dining rooms
  • Relax: take some time out and take it easy
  • Enjoy 'Care, Comfort and Companionship':  our care home is led by an experienced Home Manager who supports a team of dedicated staff members who understand the emotional and physical needs of our guests.

Our flexible respite breaks and day care arrangements often proves to be invaluable for older people and their families because it can last for a few days or longer, if you need that support. For individuals managing at home alone, a short stay provides a break from the stresses of coping alone. For those who require more support, respite breaks can provide full-time carers with a well deserved holiday safe in the knowledge that their loved one is happy and in safe hands.

Our Reputation

To the people who put the 'care' in 'care home' - a sincere and heartfelt thank you!
